Why cooking is a good way to relive your stress
Do you cook?
Well, if you don’t, maybe you should.
Because of from a stress point of view, cooking is a great way to prepare for life itself.
It involves on a smaller scale.
A lot of the same skills and attitudes you need to survive out in the world.
For example, a meal has to be thought out beforehand, so it requires good planning skills.
Ingredients have to be purchased, calling for knowledge, judgment, and economy.
Artistic ability comes into play in the meals makeup and presentation.
Most importantly, everything must be orchestrated / to be completed within a reasonable time frame.
Finally, it should all be done in a spirit of conviviality and graciousness.
If you can master the challenges of the cooking, you will be more than rewarded with great meals, you will develop the skills to succeed at pretty much everything.
So start cooking! Why you make yourself crazy? How much of your work time is wasted in meetings?
