We're going to be talking about asking and giving directions.
Are you ready? I have my map.
I'm ready,so follow me!
Hi! As you can see, I'm looking at my map.
I'm trying to find an ATM and a Pizza Place in Neville, but I'm lost. so, I'm going to ask some people to see if they can give me directions.
Attempt 1
- Excuse me. Hi, my name is Andrés. How are you?
What's your name?
- Adam.
- Adam. What's yours?
- Brandon.
- Brandon. Guys, I'm trying to find Pazzo's Pizzeria. Do you know where I can find it, Adam?
- I sure could. You want to go down this street here.
- Down this street, OK...
- Take a left after you cross thr bridge.
- OK, so I go down this street and then take a left after the bridge.
- After the bridge. It will be on your left.
- It will be on my left.
OK, so those were some key words: Down the street; to the left; I'll find it on my left. OK, so... and I'm alsotrying to find an ATM. Have you seen one around here?
- The ATM is the same way, straight down that street.
- OK, so, listen to that. He's saying it's the same way, down the street...
- Cross the bridge...
- Cross the bridge...
- To the right.
- To the right. So, I'm going to find Pazzo's Pizzeria on the left and the ATM on the right. So... I'm actually going to the ATM first because if not, they're not going to sell me any pizzas, allright? So, I'm out of here. See you in a bit.

- Hi, how are you?
- Fine, how are you?
- What's your name?
- Merith.
- Merith. We're here with Merith. My name is Andrés Moreno and I'm trying to find an ATM. Thes guys before pointed us in the wrong direction. So, Merith, do you know where an ATM is?
- Yes, there's an ATM about a block up on your left.
- So, did you hear that? A block up on my left. What does on my left mean? Do I have to turn left to see it?
- Yes, your left, this way. So, a block up and then to your left.
- OK, yes, and we're also looking for Pazzo's Pizzeria. Do you know where that is?
- Yes, that would be down the street, about two blocks ad then left about two blocks and then you'll see it on your left.

So, I finally found the bridge, it's supposed to be crossing the bridge and to my left. That's where the pizza place should be. Finally! I'm going to get some food!
Can you believe it? Ice cream, with this weather? No way! We're still got to keep going to find our pizza place. Apparently,well, we already crossed the bridge, we took a left and now we have to walk up two blocks to finally find it.
So, we finally found Pazzo's Pizzeria. I can't wait to finally go in. We found it because they told us it was going to be next to an art gallery. so, here's the art gallery, right next door to Pazzo's Pizzeria. and another reference point was that they told us it was in front of Art's Bar. so, if you look across the street, it's right in front of Art's Bar. So, remember «next to», «in front of». We're finally here.
